Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, born in Paris France of British parents Jacqueline Luesby Watson and Chris Watson both lawyers. In her early years she attended her school, the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma was inspired to become an actor when she was six. For several years, she attended the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. In the school, she was taught singing as well as dancing, and also acting. As part of a school production and the stage of a Stagecoach production, Emma was as the lead role at age 10 and performed. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 version to J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book began in 1999. Emma was spotted by Emma's Oxford Theater teacher. David Heyman announced to Emma that following eight auditions Emma as well as Rupert Grint were chosen as Hermione and Harry Potter. Emma's screen debut was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone's debut in 2001. This film was 2001's highest earning film, smashing records on opening day and the very first weekend. The film was praised by experts, and also by the performance of three new actors. The Daily Telegraph, a widely read British publication, has praised Emma for her outstanding performance. Emma later won five awards in recognition of her work in the film.
