Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character from ABC's Lost series as well as Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Gyllenhaal is a part of the family and is the elder sibling of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began in the teen years with minor roles in several of the films of her father and starred together with her brother in cult favorite Donnie Darko (2001). Later, she was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal received praise from critics for her leading roles in Secretary (2002 an erotic romantic drama), and Sherrybaby (606) and Sherrybaby (606) of which earned the actress Golden Globe Award nods.
